My “About” page is sort of nice. It’s actually one of those things I look at, and sort of giggle to myself. It’s pretty, and sort of poetic and nice. It serves a purpose too! But lets face it, it doesn’t really get down into what I’m about.
I’m a Computer Science major. First and foremost, but not really. I am a HUGE nerd, but I don’t sit pretty with the other CS kids. Most of them are far more intense than me. They LIVE computer. Ok, I do too. But, it’s different. I spend a lot of time on the computer, I am good with computers, and computer related things. I also play a lot of video games. And I like nerdy things. But this differs from your typical CS kid, because I even though I devote to nerdy things, I do not devote solely to the programming or building of computers. I also, thank you very much, have a life.
And it includes, similar to many of my peers, a variety of activities including dating, partying, shopping, watching far to many movies, and far too much comedy central, VH1, MTV. To bring me back to the nerd realm, it also includes a little bit of photography and unhealthy obsessions with both Germany/German AND cooking – food in general.
I am a little overweight, and working to fix that! The freshman 15 is no myth, and unfortunately in my case, I also had the senioritis 20. Bad news written all over it! But I am getting back in shape by eating real, whole healthy foods, riding my bike instead of driving, and I am learning to run! It’s really exciting, especially because I have asthma, and even as a kid I was sucky, sucky, sucky at running.
So there you have it. This is what the blog is really about, it’s about me. Whatever I want, whatever I feel like. The blog is about who and what I am. Which, at the moment apparently leans toward food…
